About The Role
The role owns the content engine: turning technical products and developer audiences into SEO-driven blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and web copy that rank, convert, and build category authority. This is a hybrid role in San Francisco with two days on-site.
Content is the top-performing acquisition channel for this team. The role reports into marketing leadership, partners daily with product marketing, design, and engineering, and owns content performance end-to-end — from editorial strategy to pipeline attribution in GA4 and HubSpot.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the editorial calendar and content roadmap across blog, resource center, email, and sales enablement assets
• Write and edit long-form technical content: product explainers, how-to guides, thought-leadership pieces, and customer case studies
• Drive SEO strategy: run keyword research in Ahrefs or Semrush, brief writers, optimize on-page, and grow organic traffic and rankings quarter over quarter
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate complex technical topics into clear, accurate content for practitioners and buyers
• Manage freelance writers, editors, and external agencies; review drafts and enforce quality and voice standards
• Measure content performance against traffic, engagement, MQLs, and pipeline contribution; report results to leadership monthly
• Repurpose hero assets into gated content, nurture emails, social posts, and webinar materials to maximize reach
What We Are Looking For
• 4-7 years of content marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer-focused technology
• Portfolio of published work demonstrating strong writing across formats and technical depth
• Hands-on SEO expertise: keyword research, on-page optimization, and familiarity with Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar tools
• Proficiency with CMS platforms (WordPress or Webflow), HubSpot or Marketo, and GA4 analytics
• Experience briefing and managing freelance writers and agencies while editing for accuracy and voice
• BA/BS in English, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: familiarity with developer audiences or technical domains like APIs, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps; experience with video or podcast content; Ph-KEZBHRYG content workflows
