Marketing PHJCGGkU — DTC & Ecommerce
Full-time · Los Angeles · In office
Annual base salary: $180,000–$220,000
Reports directly to the founders
ya6B5b is looking for a Marketing PHJCGGkU to lead our direct-to-consumer business. You will personally manage Meta and Google advertising, oversee ecommerce and retention, and lead a small team working from our Los Angeles office.
This is a hands-on role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working inside the advertising accounts, understands the economics behind each sale, and can turn a commercial plan into daily execution.
What you will own
Run and optimize Meta and Google campaigns, manage spending, and develop a clear testing plan. Own the DTC forecast and marketing calendar, working with the founders and finance to set budgets and customer acquisition targets.
Lead an Ecommerce and Retention Manager and a Content and Social Creative Producer. Give clear creative direction, prioritize improvements to the website and customer journeys, and coordinate launches with inventory and customer service.
Report weekly on sales, advertising spend, new customers, repeat purchasing and the money remaining after variable costs and marketing. Explain what is working, what needs to change and what you recommend doing next.
What you bring
You have personally managed Meta and Google advertising for a consumer ecommerce business and can show the results of your decisions. You know when to increase spending, when to cut it, and how to evaluate creative.
You understand Shopify, customer acquisition costs, contribution margins, retention and subscription economics. You can distinguish platform-attributed sales from overall business performance.
Experience in premium beauty, skincare or a comparable consumer category is preferred. You are comfortable working directly with founders and leading a small team while continuing to execute. Recent experience managing advertising accounts yourself is essential.
Your first 90 days
During your first month, review campaigns, tracking, spending, customer behavior and the website. By day 60, establish clear budget controls and a prioritized plan for creative, acquisition and conversion improvements. By day 90, present the results of initial tests and your recommendations for the next quarter.
How we measure success
Profitable customer acquisition, disciplined spending, stronger repeat purchasing and reliable execution. We will agree on specific targets after reviewing the business baseline together.
