POSITION SUMMARY

The Demand Generation Specialist works directly with the Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations to execute B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, account-based advertising, and events. This hands-on role is well suited to someone with a strong interest in marketing, a desire to learn, and enthusiasm for putting new skills into practice.

Through practical campaign experience and guidance from marketing leadership, the Demand Generation Specialist builds proficiency in marketing automation, account-based marketing (ABM), paid media, and campaign operations. The position offers opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and a clear path for advancement as skills and responsibilities grow.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Campaign execution

• Build, QA, and launch B2B and B2C email campaigns and journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot.

• Run B2C campaigns as projects come up within product and technology sprints.

• Set up new client configurations in Marketing Cloud, including data extensions, journeys, and content uploads.

Account-based marketing and paid media

• Build and maintain target account audiences in 6sense based on our ideal customer profile (ICP) and intent data.

• Run account-based advertising across display, paid search, paid social, CTV, and LinkedIn.

• Work with the content team to build targeting and content strategy for content syndication campaigns.

• Compare paid media budgets to actual spend, and help decide how spend is split across campaigns and channels.

Project management and events

• Manage demand generation projects and timelines in our project management tool.

• Support trade shows and events. You'll start with smaller shows and grow into supporting our largest annual conference.

Research and continuous improvement

• Research ABM, demand generation, and marketing best practices, and bring new ideas to the team.

• Contribute to ABM strategy, annual planning, and campaign performance reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, sales operations, sales development, or at an agency. Relevant internships count.

• A real passion for marketing operations, strategy, and marketing technology: how campaigns, data, and systems work together to drive results. You're drawn more to the operational and analytical side of marketing than to design or creative work, and you love researching and bringing back new ideas.

• Process-driven and detail-oriented. You like building things the right way and checking your work.

• Comfortable with shifting priorities. You spot gaps and take the initiative to fill them, whether it's something you already know or something you're ready to learn.

• Coachable. You take direction well, ask good questions, and follow through.

• Strong written communication and organization skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on experience with 6sense or another ABM platform.

• Experience running account-based or programmatic ads (LinkedIn Ads, display, CTV, paid search, paid social).

• Ad agency or media buying experience.

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or another marketing automation platform.

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, project management tools, or content syndication.

• Experience in B2B, healthcare, or fintech marketing.

• Curiosity about marketing operations, strategy, and technology, with enthusiasm for researching best practices and bringing practical new ideas to the team.

• Practical problem-solving skills to spot gaps or campaign setup issues, investigate possible causes, and seek guidance when needed.

• Interest in how campaigns, data, and systems work together, with a preference for hands-on operational and analytical work.

• Sound judgment in following approved review processes, protecting confidential patient, client, and business information, and raising content or data concerns promptly.

• Adaptability when priorities shift, including adjusting campaign and event tasks, confirming priorities, and communicating timeline changes or obstacles early.

• Ability to contribute to ABM strategy and annual planning by preparing information, sharing research, and incorporating team input under the director's guidance.
