Power BI Developer — Wilmington, MA

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power BI professional with a strong background in ERP systems and finance modules. This role focuses on developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on Microsoft Power BI experience, a solid understanding of financial data within ERP environments, and the ability to work closely with finance and business stakeholders to turn reporting requirements into practical BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

• Connect Power BI to ERP systems and other financial data sources.

• Analyze financial data and develop reports supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.

• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable business intelligence solutions.

• Develop data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.

• Ensure financial reports maintain data accuracy, consistency, performance, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimize existing Power BI solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall professional experience.

• Strong, recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

• Experience working with ERP systems. Sage ERP experience is preferred, but experience with any ERP system is acceptable.

• Strong, recent experience working with finance modules within an ERP environment.

• Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting-related data.

• Experience with data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with finance and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating ERP financial data with Power BI.

• Knowledge of financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Experience working with finance teams to deliver business intelligence solutions.
