About the Role

A well-funded AI healthcare startup is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build next-generation, patient-facing software. This role is suited to an engineer with experience developing consumer products in a startup environment and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

You will build high-performance applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. You will also influence frontend architecture, shape the user experience, and collaborate closely with product, design, and AI engineers to develop new features. You will have genuine product ownership and contribute to a platform designed for patients and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Build intuitive, high-performance frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Influence frontend architecture and contribute to technical decisions.

• Shape and improve the user experience across patient-facing products.

• Collaborate with product, design, and AI engineers to develop and deliver new features.

• Contribute to building an AI-powered healthcare platform for patients and clinicians.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Strong experience building production consumer-facing products, rather than only websites or internal tools.

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, ideally from Seed to Series B.

• Strong computer science fundamentals and an understanding of backend development.

• Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-powered applications.

• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthtech, digital health, or similar regulated industries is a major advantage.

Location and Work Arrangement

• New York City, NY

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $180,000–$225,000.
