The State of KChnhyRSjMk YJMMV2ag aarq6z is seeking a .Net Application Developer (Information Technology Analyst Trainee) for the Information Technology Division, Production Support Team. Qualified applicants will possess experience in the specific functional area of software development.

The selected candidate will work with a team to build, modernize and maintain web applications using C#, ••••••••, and SQL Server within modern development environments. The selected candidate will ensure seamless client-server interaction through the creation and consumption of APIs.

Core Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design & Prototyping: Collaborate with business users to grasp requirements, transforming conceptual discussions into clean, user-first visual workflows and prototypes.

• Full-Stack Development: Write clean code to build responsive web application features using C# and the •••••••• framework within Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.

• API Integration: Design, build, test, and consume secure APIs to ensure smooth data processing between frontend interfaces and backend systems.

• Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries and manage relational database schemas using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

• Frontend Engineering: Implement responsive, accessible web layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

• Version Control: Maintain and manage source code integrity using Git workflow patterns.

• Troubleshooting: Debug applications across the full lifecycle, familiar with browser developer tools (Inspect Element, Console, Network tab) to analyze client-server request/response cycles and resolve UI or network bugs.

Upon hire, hybrid remote work may be available.

Salary Range: $73,841.00 - $94,807.00/year plus State of gVyaQnTY2XR benefits. New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing 6EKUja6R G2s8Jz policy.

Experience And Training

General Experience: Two (2) years of experience in information technology (IT) operations, programming, systems/software development or another IT related field.

Substitutions Allowed

• College training in management information systems, computer science, electrical engineering or related area may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equaling six (6) months of experience to a maximum of two (2) years for an Associates degree.

• Relevant Technical School training leading to a diploma in an information technology specialty (i.e. Computer Networking Management, Computer Programming, etc.) may be substituted for one (1) year of the general experience.

• Relevant certification in management information systems, computer science, electrical engineering, project management or related area may be substituted for up to six (6) months of the general experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Incumbents may be required to travel within the State in the course of their daily work.

Incumbents in this class will be eligible for advancement to the target class of Information Technology Analyst 1 after successful completion of two (2) years of on the job training.
