Junior Software Developer — United States

This employer is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines within a cloud-based environment. The role focuses on transforming raw data into reliable, high-quality datasets to support organizational analytics and reporting needs.

The Role

• Develop and maintain batch and incremental ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data processing frameworks.

• Construct and manage multi-layered data architectures to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

• Ingest and transform structured and semi-structured data from a variety of internal and external sources.

• Implement robust data quality checks, including schema validation, deduplication, and business rule enforcement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production pipelines, system monitoring, and release management.

What You'll Need

• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in data processing frameworks and lakehouse technologies.

• Experience building and managing data pipelines within cloud environments, including storage and warehousing solutions.

• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD workflows, and Agile delivery methodologies.
