About The Role

HTC Global Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer specializing in React and TypeScript to build and enhance production web applications. In this role, you will take part in frontend engineering across application features, UI architecture, API integrations, testing, accessibility, and production support. You’ll design reusable components and maintainable experiences, while helping improve performance and reliability. Working closely with product, design, and QA colleagues, you will communicate technical decisions and deliver user-focused solutions that meet quality standards.

Qualifications

Applicants should have at least five years of experience building production web applications, including three or more years working with React and TypeScript. Strong knowledge of React hooks, context, component design, lazy loading, and techniques for avoiding unnecessary re-renders is required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Redux Toolkit, selectors, and a server-state library such as React Query, including caching, invalidation, and error handling. Experience creating multi-step or conditional forms with react-hook-form or a similar solution and schema validation using Yup or Zod is expected.

You should also bring experience integrating REST APIs and managing request lifecycles, error states, and request optimization. Familiarity with MUI, Emotion, theming, Jest, React Testing Library, and API mocking tools such as MSW is important. Practical accessibility knowledge, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, and WCAG 2.1 AA practices, is required. Candidates should understand Core Web Vitals, bundle size, code splitting, and browser-based performance profiling, as well as Git, CI/CD quality gates, and production debugging with logs, monitoring, or error-tracking tools. Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Preferred experience includes working in monorepos with Nx, Turborepo, or pnpm workspaces; reading or modifying Webpack and Babel configuration; building multi-brand or white-label interfaces from a shared codebase; and using Node.js and Express.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and improve production applications using React and TypeScript. Develop reusable components and scalable UI patterns, and implement application state with Redux Toolkit and server-state libraries. Create complex forms, integrate REST APIs, and manage caching, error handling, request optimization, and user-facing states. Develop component-based interfaces with MUI, Emotion, and theming. Write reliable automated tests and support quality through code reviews, merge requests, and CI/CD checks. Implement accessible experiences and monitor application performance, including rendering, Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and code splitting. Use browser developer tools to investigate performance issues and logs or monitoring tools to diagnose production problems. Collaborate with product, design, and QA, and clearly document implementation details and technical trade-offs.
