About the Role

A growth-stage Series B technology startup is seeking a Mid-Level Frontend Software Engineer to help design, develop, and deploy web applications for its full-stack observability platform. The platform is built on OpenTelemetry and provides real-user monitoring capabilities for frontend mobile and web teams, processing billions of data points daily from more than 100 million devices.

In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to develop observability tools for mobile teams. You will also contribute to data visualization and analysis features, improve application performance and code quality, and help establish engineering best practices as the codebase continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to develop and implement web-based observability tools for mobile teams.

• Provide coaching and technical support to teammates worldwide on complex engineering issues.

• Improve code quality, create test cases, and optimize application performance.

• Work with the Customer Success team to gather customer feedback and incorporate it into technical designs and solutions.

• Establish and refine engineering best practices for a growing codebase used by mobile companies globally.

• Design, develop, and deploy frontend applications that support large-scale data processing and visualization.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in frontend engineering.

• Proficiency in React and TypeScript.

• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, including charts, graphs, and tables, particularly when working with large datasets.

• Experience building data analysis and insights tools.

• Ability to design intuitive interfaces for data exploration and visualization.

• Experience with unit testing.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Current authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.

Salary & Benefits

• Base Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
