Full Stack Engineer (React + TypeScript) - Remote — United States

WiftHub is an early-stage company building a platform that brings together suppliers and buyers. The company operates with a distributed team working across California and India, with a remote-first and asynchronous working approach.

About the Role

WiftHub is looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer (React + Supabase) to join its early engineering team. Working directly with the founder, you will help design, build, and deploy the core features of the platform.

As one of the first engineers, you will take ownership of both frontend and backend development, covering everything from user interface components to database logic. You will also contribute to technical architecture, product planning, and engineering practices, working across the full product lifecycle from initial concepts through deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the main WiftHub web application using React, TypeScript, and Vite.

• Develop and optimize backend services using Node.js and Supabase Edge Functions.

• Design database schemas and queries using Supabase and PostgreSQL.

• Develop core platform features, including authentication (PKCE/OAuth), supplier onboarding, buyer feeds, product and quote management, and notifications.

• Work with the founder and designer on user experience decisions, layout systems, and feature roadmaps.

• Improve application performance, caching, and build pipelines using Netlify and GitHub Actions.

• Maintain security, code quality, and scalability across product releases.

• Help establish and improve internal engineering standards and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React and Node.js.

• At least one modern project successfully shipped.

• Understanding of SQL and data modeling with Supabase or PostgreSQL.

• Experience working with REST APIs and authentication systems.

• Ability to take ownership of features and manage their development from initial idea through deployment.

• Interest in building products from scratch and working in an early-stage startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Framer Motion.

Relevant Tools and Technologies

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, TailwindCSS, Framer Motion.

• Backend: Node.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Supabase Edge Functions.

• Infrastructure: Netlify, GitHub Actions, Supabase CLI.

• Design and Collaboration: Figma, Postman, Notion, Slack.

Salary & Benefits

• The position offers a competitive base salary. Early-stage equity through ESOPs is also available for the right candidate.

Location and Work Arrangement

• Remote-first position, open to candidates based anywhere in the world. The team is distributed across California and India and works asynchronously.
