About The Role

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer who is passionate about creating high-performance, scalable, and visually appealing mobile applications. In this role, you will help deliver seamless experiences for users on both iOS and Android. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from translating product requirements and interface designs into working features to improving application performance, reliability, and maintainability after release. The ideal candidate combines strong React Native expertise with sound mobile development practices, clear communication, and a commitment to building secure, user-friendly software.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Candidates should have at least eight years of professional mobile application development experience, including a minimum of three years of hands-on work with React Native and JavaScript or TypeScript. You should have a strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, and state management, as well as experience building and maintaining production mobile applications.

We are looking for strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities, together with practical knowledge of mobile performance tuning, memory optimization, and secure development. Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, and third-party libraries is valuable. Familiarity with native Android development using Kotlin or Java, or iOS development using Swift or Objective-C, is an advantage. You should also understand App Store and Google Play deployment processes, mobile CI/CD pipelines, version control, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows. Clear communication and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. Build clean, responsive, accessible interfaces by working with product managers and UI/UX designers to turn requirements and design mockups into polished user experiences. Architect and maintain codebases with attention to performance, scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Integrate backend services and external tools, including RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, and appropriate third-party libraries. Develop solutions for offline use and local data persistence where required. Identify and resolve defects, investigate performance issues, and apply suitable improvements to reduce memory use and improve responsiveness. Follow established coding standards and contribute to testing practices, code reviews, documentation, and secure handling of application data, including encryption and secure storage.

Implement native Android or iOS modules when needed to extend React Native functionality. Support build, release, and deployment activities across the App Store and Google Play, and contribute to CI/CD workflows. Stay informed about changes in the React Native ecosystem, mobile development tools, and relevant industry practices, sharing useful improvements with the wider team.
