Android Developer — Jersey City, NJ

We’re seeking an experienced Android Developer to build and maintain Android applications. You’ll work with product and engineering teammates to deliver user-focused mobile experiences, contribute to application architecture, and troubleshoot issues throughout development. ### Responsibilities and qualifications - Develop Android applications using Kotlin and Java, working with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools. - Build interfaces with Jetpack Compose and apply Android UI/UX principles and Material Design guidelines. - Use Android architecture components and patterns, including MVVM and MVI. - Integrate RESTful APIs and handle JSON data. - Implement asynchronous operations using Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, RxJava, or similar frameworks. - Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively with the team. - Apply strong debugging and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues. - Communicate clearly and contribute to a collaborative development environment. Candidates should bring 8–10 years of Android development experience, strong Kotlin and Java proficiency, and a solid understanding of the Android development ecosystem.
