This employer is looking for a Database Administrator to join an IT Engineering organization focused on managing and optimizing database technologies. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of critical data infrastructure while collaborating with internal teams to support data migration and automation initiatives.

The Role

• Partner with internal stakeholders to plan improvements, optimize schemas, and manage database configurations

• Engineer, deploy, and maintain monitoring, backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies

• Perform data migration, transformation, and root cause analysis for production-related issues

• Develop automation scripts and provide technical support including participation in an on-call rotation

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 3+ years of IT database administration, or 5+ years of IT database administration in lieu of a degree

• 1+ years of experience in optimizing SQL queries and data replication and transformation

• 3+ years of experience in monitoring and tuning databases for high availability and performance
