About The Role

Bounteous, Inc. is seeking a UX Designer to help shape intuitive and engaging digital experiences. In this role, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to understand users, explore design opportunities, and translate research and requirements into clear experience concepts. You will contribute to projects across the design lifecycle, helping teams consider user needs alongside business objectives, technical constraints, and delivery priorities.

The successful candidate is curious, collaborative, and attentive to detail. You can explain your design decisions, respond constructively to feedback, and adapt your work as project needs evolve. You are comfortable moving between research, information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping, and you understand the value of validating ideas before they are implemented. Work-from-home and/or hybrid arrangements may be permitted at the employer’s discretion, in accordance with company policies and business needs.

Qualifications

Candidates should have professional experience in UX, product, interaction, or digital experience design, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience. A portfolio demonstrating relevant work is expected and should explain the design process, individual contributions, and outcomes where available. Applicants should be able to present work clearly and discuss how user needs informed design decisions.

Strong candidates will bring experience with user-centered design methods, including research synthesis, journey mapping, task flows, wireframing, prototyping, and usability evaluation. Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, responsive design principles, accessibility considerations, and common digital product patterns is important. The role also requires clear written and verbal communication, sound problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines. Experience incorporating feedback and balancing user, business, and technical considerations is valued.

Responsibilities

Partner with researchers, product managers, strategists, developers, and other designers to understand project goals, user needs, and delivery requirements. Review research, analytics, stakeholder input, and existing experience patterns to identify user challenges and opportunities. Organize information and create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, interaction models, and prototypes that communicate proposed experiences.

Develop and refine interface concepts in alignment with established design systems, brand direction, accessibility practices, and platform requirements. Participate in design reviews, workshops, and planning sessions, presenting rationale and incorporating feedback. Support usability testing and other validation activities, interpret findings, and use insights to improve designs. Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to clarify design intent, resolve implementation questions, and help maintain quality through launch. Contribute to documentation and ongoing design improvements as project needs change.
