This position will manage enterprise technology projects that cross departmental lines, have high citizen or customer visibility, are sensitive or confidential in nature, and are funded by the Information Technologies capital project budget.

The candidate is skilled at identifying, analyzing, and solving real-world problems; thrives in a fast-paced environment; and possesses strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

Three years of increasingly responsible structured project management experience preferably in the information technology field.

Training:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Management Information Systems or a related field. May substitute a combination of equivalent education and related experience. The city assesses 1.5 years of fulltime experience as equivalent to one year of education

License or Certificate:

Project Management Professional certification, or other related certification, is preferred.
