About The Role
The role centers on building customer-facing web interfaces that are fast, accessible, and reliable at scale. The frontend stack is modern React with TypeScript, component-driven design systems, and state management patterns that hold up under real-world complexity.
The engineer joining this team will own features end-to-end - from design collaboration and API integration to production deploys and performance monitoring. The product serves hundreds of thousands of users, so every render, bundle size decision, and interaction detail matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and ship user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, owning delivery from spec review through production release
• Develop and maintain a shared component library with Storybook, ensuring consistency across multiple product surfaces
• Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, collaborating with backend engineers on contract design and error-handling strategy
• Optimize application performance: bundle analysis, code splitting, Core Web Vitals tuning, and render profiling
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library, and contribute to end-to-end coverage with Playwright
• Participate in design reviews and pair with product designers in Figma to validate feasibility and propose interaction improvements
• Improve accessibility standards across the codebase - semantic markup, keyboard navigation, and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
What We Are Looking For
• 3–6 years of frontend engineering experience shipping production web applications
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including hooks, performance patterns, and modern state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query)
• Strong CSS fundamentals and experience with Tailwind, styled-components, or CSS-in-JS at scale
• Experience with modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, Turborepo) and CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment
• Track record of measurable performance work - LCP/CLS improvements, bundle reduction, or render optimization
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
