A Day in the Life of a Digital Analytics Specialist

As a Digital Analytics Specialist, you will work at the intersection of digital analytics, web analytics, data analytics and customer experience. You will turn digital and enterprise data into insights that improve customer experience and business performance. You will lead analysis across mobile-optimized websites, portals, and other digital channels, connecting customer behavior to operational and business outcomes. You will build dashboards, analytical datasets and measurement plans, automate data collection and reporting, and use approved GenAI tools to accelerate data gathering, analysis and insights. You will use critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to identify trends, opportunities and root causes, translate findings into clear recommendations and partner across Business, Digital, Marketing, Technology, Data and Security to improve data quality, tracking, experimentation and analytics capabilities.

Key Tools & Technologies You’ll Work With:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Analyze digital traffic, customer behavior, journeys, engagement and conversion.

• Google Tag Manager: Manage event tracking, tagging, attribution and digital measurement.

• Power BI: Build dashboards, scorecards and visual reporting that translate data into actionable insights.

• BigQuery, Databricks & Microsoft Fabric: Integrate, transform and analyze large digital and enterprise datasets.

• SQL: Query, combine and validate data from multiple sources.

• Python: Support advanced analysis, automation, data transformation and quality assurance.

• Excel: Perform detailed analysis, validation and ad hoc reporting.

• Data Pipelines & Data Models: Build and maintain reusable datasets and analytical structures that support reporting and decision-making.

• Approved Automation & GenAI Tools: Improve analytical efficiency, documentation and quality while supporting responsible use of emerging capabilities.
