Role Overview Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge GenAI team to help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We are seeking an elite Commercial Video Editor and Post-Production Lead with deep, hands-on agency editing experience. Your real-world editorial judgment will elevate the quality of our AI training data.

⚠️ STRICT REQUIREMENTS:This is a full-time (40 hours/week) W-2 employment position. You MUST be located in and authorized to work in the United States.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate & Guide: Assess AI-generated video edits, catching problems with pacing, rhythm, continuity, audio sync, color accuracy, and delivery specs.

• Task Design: Create challenging, real-world editing tasks drawn from actual agency workflows (hero cuts, aspect-ratio reframes, localized versions).

• Technical Workflow: Produce reference edits with editable timelines in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and utilize FFmpeg for transcodes and batch exports.

• Standard Setting: Develop rigorous guidelines, rubrics, and technical quality checks for AI editing and finishing.

Candidate Profile

• Industry Pedigree: 5+ years of shipped commercial or agency editing work at a premier editorial house, post house, or agency (e.g., Rock Paper Scissors, The Mill, BBDO, Droga5, Wieden+Kennedy) with named brand campaign credits. (Crowd rating, basic data labeling, or student work will not be accepted).

• Mastery of Tools: Expert daily use of Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. Working knowledge of Avid Media Composer and After Effects.

• Format Fluency: Deep experience with .prproj, .drp, AAF, XML, EDL, ProRes, and DNxHR masters. Hands-on Rec.709 grading and finishing experience.

• AI Familiarity: Working familiarity with GenAI video tools (Runway, Sora, Kling, Luma, Firefly) with the elite judgment to distinguish a truly strong result from a plausible-looking weak one.

• Portfolio: A highly professional public portfolio or reel of shipped commercial work is required.

Engagement Details & Compensation

• Work Structure: 100% remote within the United States. Full-time commitment (40 hours/week during weekdays).

• Employment Type: W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC (Employer of Record), providing payroll, benefits, and compliance.

• Compensation: Highly competitive rate of $70.00 to $120.00 per hour, depending on experience and portfolio quality.
