The role owns the end-to-end design of digital product experiences — from early discovery and problem framing through high-fidelity design and developer handoff for a product used by hundreds of thousands of people.
The designer will work directly with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers to solve problems where usability, visual craft, and business outcomes all matter equally.
Key Responsibilities
• Design end-to-end product experiences in Figma — user flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and polished high-fidelity UI
• Conduct moderated usability tests and quick-feedback studies with real users, translating findings into prioritized design recommendations
• Build and maintain reusable design system components, working closely with engineers on tokens, specs, and component behavior
• Partner with PMs and engineers during sprint planning and backlog refinement to scope work and make build-vs-design tradeoffs explicit
• Validate designs through prototype testing and lightweight A/B experiments; iterate based on quantitative and qualitative evidence
• Present design rationale and decisions to stakeholders at every level, clearly articulating tradeoffs and user impact
• Contribute to accessibility standards, ensuring designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements before handoff
What We Are Looking For
• 3–6 years of professional UX/product design experience, with shipped work at a consumer or SaaS product company
• A strong portfolio demonstrating process, craft, and measurable outcomes — not just final screens
• Expert-level Figma skills, including auto-layout, variables, and design system maintenance
• Hands-on experience running usability studies and synthesizing research; comfort with tools like UserTesting, Maze, or Dovetail
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS constraints and design handoff practices with engineering teams
• BA/BS in HCI, Interaction Design, or equivalent practical experience
