About the Role

Pretzel Logic Productions is seeking a Jr. Video Editor to create commercial and branded video content as part of its in-house production team. This role is suited to an editor with a strong interest in storytelling, pacing, and visual creativity who can produce engaging content while collaborating with producers, directors, creative leadership, and fellow editors.

The position involves editing projects for broadcast, digital, social media, and internal brand use. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, incorporate creative feedback, and maintain high standards of quality while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit commercial and branded video content from concept through final delivery.

• Develop compelling stories through effective pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact.

• Collaborate with producers, directors, creative leadership, and other editors.

• Edit content for broadcast, digital, social media, and internal brand use.

• Create modern, dynamic, and visually engaging edits.

• Incorporate music, sound design, graphics, and visual effects to enhance finished content.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Apply feedback efficiently while maintaining the creative direction of each project.

• Keep assets, timelines, and project files organized.

• Maintain the company's standards for storytelling, quality, and execution.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in commercial or branded content.

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for graphic preparation and visual enhancements.

• Understanding of pacing, timing, color, and visual storytelling.

• Ability to edit engaging, attention-grabbing commercials that maintain audience interest.

• Experience editing content for multiple formats and platforms.

• A good understanding of music selection and sound design.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.

• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate.

• Ability to take direction while contributing creative ideas and solutions.

• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe After Effects, particularly for motion graphics, titles, and animated elements, is a strong plus.

• Experience with DaVinci Resolve is beneficial but not required.

• Interest in emerging video trends and continued creative development.
