Sf4 6YqnAEA is a video production company in Indianapolis. We concept, write, shoot, and finish video and content for national brands in manufacturing, pharma, technology, and higher education, and for regional brands we've grown alongside for years.

We're a small, hands-on team: creative direction, production and post all happen in-house, so the edit is where our work comes together.

We're looking for a Senior Video Editor to be our lead editor and lead our post-production team. You'll cut our most important work yourself and set the craft, workflow, and pace for everyone in the edit bay. This role reports to ownership.

Key responsibilities

Editing craft

• Cut HAq'5 highest-profile projects: brand spots, campaigns, event content, documentary-style pieces and social deliverables

• Shape story, pacing, music and sound from raw footage to final

• Handle motion graphics, color and audio finishing, or direct others who do

• Deliver final masters and versions to spec for every platform

Leading the post team

• Lead and mentor HAq'5 editors and post staff, giving clear, constructive creative feedback

• Assign edits and balance workloads across the team based on deadlines and strengths

• Set and uphold the quality bar for every cut that leaves the studio

• Review the team's work before it goes to the client

Post workflow

• Own post standards: project structure, bins, naming, media management and archiving

• Keep post schedules, review rounds and delivery dates current in our production platform

• Manage review and approval through our review tools, and keep feedback rounds moving

• Maintain edit systems, storage and software so the team can work without friction

Collaboration

• Partner with the creative director and producers from pre-production on, so shoots are planned for the edit

• Join client reviews when needed and translate feedback into clear edit notes

• Flag risks to schedule, scope or quality early to ownership and account leads

Qualifications

Required

• 7+ years of professional editing at an agency, production company or in-house creative team, including 2+ years leading or mentoring editors

• A reel showing strong story, pacing and finish across commercial, brand and long-form work

• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; strong working skills in After Effects

• Solid color correction and audio mixing for final delivery

• Experience setting up and running post workflows: project structure, media management, versioning and delivery specs

• Clear, constructive communicator with editors, producers and clients

Nice to have

• DaVinci Resolve for color grading

• Experience with •••••••• or similar review and approval tools

• Motion graphics and animation beyond templates

• Experience cutting for regulated industries such as pharma or healthcare

• On-set experience, such as DIT, media wrangling or directing for the edit

Compensation

• Salary: $65,000–$75,000, based on experience
