Automated Test Engineer — Washington DC-Baltimore Area

An established technology employer is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to support continuous quality and robust test coverage for mission-critical web applications and services.

The Role

• Independently design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts to validate web applications and RESTful microservices.

• Execute automated test suites, analyze testing metrics, troubleshoot issues, and document defects.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in coordination with DevOps and engineering teams.

• Validate cloud-hosted services and participate actively in Agile ceremonies to align on requirements.

What You'll Need

• 4+ years of relevant software testing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

• Strong experience with automated UI and API testing tools and JavaScript.

• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and working within Agile environments.
