Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Manager – Shopify & eCommerce to lead our eCommerce technology operations, manage the Shopify/Shopify Plus platform, and oversee technical teams responsible for website development, maintenance, and optimization.

The ideal candidate will have strong Shopify development experience, IT leadership capabilities, and a solid understanding of eCommerce operations, preferably within the fashion, apparel, or retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, management, and optimization of the Shopify/Shopify Plus website.

• Manage website architecture, themes, customizations, apps, and third-party integrations.

• Oversee website performance, functionality, security, responsiveness, and user experience.

• Manage and mentor developers, eCommerce specialists, and external technical resources.

• Coordinate website enhancements, troubleshooting, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.

• Oversee integrations with ERP, CRM, inventory, payment, and shipping systems.

• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams on promotions, product launches, SEO, and digital initiatives.

• Monitor website performance, conversion rates, traffic, and eCommerce KPIs.

• Develop technology roadmaps and recommend solutions to support business growth.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in IT management, Shopify development, or eCommerce technology.

• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus website development and administration.

• Experience building, launching, managing, and maintaining eCommerce websites.

• Previous experience managing developers, technical teams, and vendors.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify Liquid, APIs, and third-party integrations.

• Experience with ERP, CRM, inventory management, and payment/shipping integrations.

• Strong project management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fashion, apparel, retail, or lifestyle eCommerce.

• Shopify Plus experience.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and email marketing platforms.

• Experience with conversion rate optimization and scaling online retail businesses.
