About The Role

VaaridaTech is seeking an experienced React JS Developer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full-time opportunity for a professional with 8–12 years of experience building production-grade applications and integrating them with APIs, workflow engines, and data services. In this role, you will contribute across the application stack, with a focus on React-based user interfaces, Python REST services, and Camunda 7 workflow orchestration.

You will help deliver workflow-backed user journeys and API-centric solutions, while collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders. The role also includes integrating governed Agentic 5q capabilities and Databricks analytics into operational workflows. Success requires strong technical judgment, a commitment to reliable implementation, and the ability to communicate clearly across teams.

Qualifications

Candidates should bring 8–12 years of relevant software development experience and demonstrated expertise delivering front-end applications with React. You should be comfortable building component-driven interfaces, using hooks and state management effectively, and consuming APIs with attention to authentication, error handling, pagination, and caching.

Experience designing and implementing Camunda 7 BPMN workflows is required, including service and user tasks, gateways, timers, and message events. You should understand transaction boundaries and throughput tuning, including the appropriate use of asyncBefore and asyncAfter. Strong Python experience developing REST APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask is also expected, along with knowledge of request validation, secure authentication patterns, and downstream system integration.

Additional qualifications include experience with Camunda External Tasks; building Java or Python workers; and implementing idempotency, retry and backoff strategies, and resilient REST integrations. Familiarity with LLM or agent integrations, tool or function calling, prompt and version management, human-in-the-loop approvals, auditability, Databricks job operations, and Camunda Cockpit, Tasklist, and Admin is valuable. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, maintain, and improve React applications that support clear, accessible, and dependable user experiences. Integrate front-end features with secure APIs and workflow-backed processes, ensuring robust handling of authentication, failures, data loading, pagination, and caching.

Model and implement Camunda 7 BPMN workflows, selecting appropriate task types, events, gateways, transaction boundaries, and asynchronous continuations. Build and operate External Task workers in Java or Python, designing for scale, idempotent execution, controlled retries, and reliable communication with internal and external services.

Create Python REST endpoints that expose workflow and data capabilities, validate requests, enforce secure access, and integrate with downstream systems. Incorporate LLM and agent interactions as governed workflow steps, with appropriate tool calling, prompt controls, approval checkpoints, and audit trails. Trigger and monitor Databricks jobs, correlate results with Camunda process instances, and use Camunda operational tools to support visibility and administration. Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and technical discussions, and document solutions to support maintainability.
