Data Engineer — Tampa, FL

We are hiring on behalf of an established IT services company seeking a hands-on engineer to build, support, and troubleshoot data pipelines in a production environment.

The Role

• Develop and support robust ETL/ELT data ingestion and transformation pipelines into cloud data warehousing platforms.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production pipelines, conducting data validation and root-cause analysis to ensure data integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

• Implement automation and ingestion workflows utilizing cloud infrastructure and database capabilities.

What You'll Need

• 3-5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.

• Strong experience with Snowflake and modern data warehousing, including tasks, streams, and stored procedures.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data ingestion, transformation, and workflow automation.

• Practical experience with AWS environments, particularly Amazon S3.
