Description
The Marketing Delivery Channel Growth Manager is the business owner of the Delivery channels (1P and 3P) and lead owner of partner relationships with accountability for profitable sales growth. You'll be the day-to-day lead for delivery partners, manage co-marketing funds, build delivery promotions into our calendar and media plans, and use data and tests to find the next growth opportunity.
This role mixes partnership management, marketing, and analytics. It suits someone who can negotiate with a national partner in the morning and fix a menu mapping issue in the afternoon.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partner Strategy and Management (30%)
• Build and run the delivery growth plan for each partner, and own overall channel performance.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for DoorDash and other partners managing communication, alignment, and issue resolution.
• Lead joint business planning and quarterly business reviews with each partner.
• Negotiate commercial terms, partner marketing funds, and agreements with Finance and Legal.
• Evaluate new platforms and partnership opportunities, such as catering, group orders, and memberships.
Delivery Marketing and Promotions (30%)
• Own and allocate co-marketing budgets to drive sales and maximize return.
• Build a delivery promotional calendar for 1P and 3P delivery channels that lines up with national LTOs, value, and key calendar moments.
• Brief creative teams on delivery assets, and work with partners on in-app placements, offers, and sponsored listings.
• Partner with Media to fold delivery into the broader media plan, and with Digital & Loyalty to balance 3P and 1P delivery channels.
• Run new-customer and reactivation programs, including afternoon and evening offers that build new occasions.
Channel Experience and Operations (20%)
• Own the delivery menu, item photos, descriptions, and store listings, and keep them accurate across all partners.
• Set delivery menu and pricing recommendations with Finance and Menu & Category, protecting franchisee margin.
• Work with Operations and Technology on order accuracy, wait times, packaging, POS integration, and store availability.
• Support franchisees with delivery onboarding, training, and performance coaching, with field teams.
Performance, Testing, and Insights (20%)
• Track channel results weekly: sales, orders, new versus repeat customers, ticket, ratings, and margin, by partner and market.
• Design and evaluate partner-specific tests in offers, pricing, placement, and menu, then scale what works.
• Measure promotion return and incrementality with Finance and Customer Insights & Analytics.
• Report channel performance and recommendations to the ELT and franchisees.
• Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
• 6 to 8+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, or digital commerce, preferably in QSR, restaurants, or retail.
• Direct experience working with delivery partners such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub.
• Experience managing marketing budgets and partner funds against return targets.
• Strong analytical skills, using data to make decisions, find opportunities, and measure success. Advanced Excel.
• Experience negotiating with external partners and presenting to leadership and partner teams.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects across Marketing, Operations, and Technology.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage several workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with ambiguity, a strong sense of ownership, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Growth-minded. You look for the next opportunity and back it with numbers.
• Partner-savvy. You build strong relationships and hold partners to their commitments.
• Franchisee-focused. You grow the channel in ways that make money for our franchise owners.
