Dotnet DEVELOPER (Remote) — United States

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced IIoT .NET Developer to build, enhance, and support industrial software applications in a remote development environment. This hands-on position covers the full Agile software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and customer acceptance.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Microsoft .NET and C#, along with front-end development experience using Angular. You will work with customers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, maintainable software solutions. Experience with industrial IoT and manufacturing systems is particularly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Collaborate with customers, developers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, workflows, and technical solutions.

• Build and enhance back-end services and Angular-based user interfaces.

• Integrate internal applications with third-party systems and services.

• Troubleshoot and improve existing applications, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.

• Prepare technical specifications and maintain clear software documentation.

• Contribute to automated testing, code quality, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement.

• Support test and demonstration environments, including basic networking and server maintenance.

• Manage assigned deliverables independently and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 5+ years of progressive software development experience with Microsoft .NET frameworks.

• Strong hands-on proficiency in C# and .NET back-end development.

• Proficiency in Angular and modern front-end development practices.

• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and Entity Framework or comparable ORM tools.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, domain-driven design, and test-driven development.

• Experience with automated unit and integration testing, Git, and version-control practices.

• Understanding of web application security and secure coding principles.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet connectivity.

• Stable work history, with no more than two jobs in the last five years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Open Automation Software.

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or industrial system integrations.

• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems, particularly Infor CloudSuite Industrial / SyteLine and Mongoose Framework.

• Familiarity with discrete or process manufacturing environments and quality systems.

• Experience with Bootstrap, Azure, AWS, GCP, or other cloud technologies.

• Knowledge of high-performance application development, CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization.

Salary & Benefits

• Annual base salary of $110,000–$135,000.
