About The Role
The role builds native mobile experiences on iOS and Android that millions of users interact with daily - fast, reliable, and polished across every release.
The engineer will work closely with backend, design, and product teams to ship features end-to-end, owning everything from architecture decisions to App Store and Play Store releases.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain native mobile features using Swift/Kotlin (or cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter) for iOS and Android
• Architect and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs with backend services, handling offline persistence, caching, and sync strategies
• Own release engineering: CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions), app store submissions, staged rollouts, and feature flags
• Instrument mobile analytics and crash reporting (Firebase, Sentry) and drive performance improvements around startup time, memory, and render performance
• Write unit, integration, and UI tests (XCTest, Espresso) and maintain high coverage across critical user flows
• Conduct thorough code reviews and contribute to mobile architecture standards, design system components, and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to scope features, estimate timelines, and ship on a regular release cadence
What We Are Looking For
• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience shipping production apps to the App Store, Play Store, or both
• Deep proficiency in Swift and/or Kotlin, including modern patterns (SwiftUI, Compose, coroutines/Combine)
• Experience with state management, dependency injection, and modular app architecture at scale
• Hands-on experience with mobile CI/CD, automated testing, and app release processes
• Track record of debugging tricky production issues - memory leaks, race conditions, network failures - and improving app stability
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: cross-platform experience (React Native/Flutter), mobile security best practices, or contributions to open-source mobile libraries
