About yVfqxFjkYQD

yVfqxFjkYQD is an online, subscription-based clothing and accessory rental service for women. We are revolutionizing the retail industry as we know it, and we are on a mission to empower women to look and feel like the best version of themselves, one outfit at a time.

We are a small, fast-growing team based in Los Angeles. We move quickly, test constantly, and give people real ownership. One of the values we care about most is getting it right over being right. We share ideas openly, welcome being challenged, and celebrate the best answer no matter whose it is. We win together, and we leave ego at the door.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Director of Growth Marketing to own subscriber growth end to end: acquisition, activation, retention and the budget behind them. This role reports to our CEO and sits on the leadership team.

You will set the growth strategy, build and lead the team that executes it, and be accountable for the numbers that matter most to the business: new subscribers, CAC, payback, retention and LTV. You will still be close enough to the work to open Ads Manager, read a cohort table and tell the team exactly what to test next.

You will take a scrappy, high-performing team to its next stage of scale, adding the structure, tools, measurement and people needed to grow efficiently.

What You'll Do

Strategy and leadership

• Own the full-funnel growth strategy, from first impression to subscriber to long-term member, and tie it directly to company revenue and subscriber goals.

• Set and own annual and quarterly targets for new subscribers, CAC, payback period, retention and LTV. Present performance and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.

• Build, lead and mentor the marketing team. Set priorities, give creative feedback, and develop the team's skills.

• Decide where to build in-house versus use agencies, freelancers and tools, and manage those partners.

• Partner with the CEO, Buying, Creative, Member Experience and Accounting to shape growth initiatives, pricing and plan offers, promotions and seasonal launches.

Paid acquisition

• Own paid media across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Google (Search, Shopping, YouTube, Performance Max), Pinterest, display and emerging platforms.

• Oversee day-to-day campaign management through the team: keyword strategy, ad copy, audience targeting, bid and budget management, ad optimization and landing page optimization.

• Expand the channel mix where it pays back, including influencer and creator partnerships, affiliate, podcast, CTV and referral programs.

• Stay ahead of paid social and search trends, platform changes, technologies and best practices, and bring new ideas to the team before competitors do.

Budget and unit economics

• Build and manage a substantial media budget: annual planning, monthly allocation, pacing, tracking and month-end reconciliation with Accounting.

• Allocate spend across channels based on marginal CAC, payback and LTV, not last-click ROAS alone.

• Forecast subscriber growth and spend scenarios to guide company planning.

Creative and briefing

• Lead the cross-functional briefing process for paid media. Consolidate channel requests into one cohesive paid media story, mapping objectives, audiences and creative to avoid redundant resourcing and spend.

• Partner with Graphic Design and Marketing on urgent and planned creative requests, using ad performance data to decide what gets made next.

• Build a creative testing system for hooks, formats, UGC, creators and offers that consistently produces winning ads.

• Own new-customer conversion on site. Partner with the web and product teams on a CRO roadmap for landing pages, plan pages and checkout, and track funnel reporting from first visit to subscription.

Retention and lifecycle

• Own the subscriber journey after sign-up: onboarding, activation, engagement, win-back and churn reduction across email, SMS and push.

• Use cohort and churn analysis to find the levers that keep members renting longer, and work with Product and CX to act on them.

Testing, measurement and reporting

• Run a disciplined testing program across the full journey, from ad creative and placement to landing pages, checkout and onboarding, using A/B and multivariate tests with our Data Analytics team.

• Build a measurement approach that goes beyond platform reporting, including incrementality tests, holdouts and media mix modeling as we scale.

• Own growth reporting: weekly dashboards, monthly recaps of campaign and channel performance, and clear insights on what to do next.

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years in growth or performance marketing, including 3+ years leading a growth team with managers or senior individual contributors reporting to you.

• A track record of scaling a DTC brand through a major growth stage, ideally in subscription, membership, rental or fashion ecommerce.

• Hands-on depth in paid social and search (Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest), with experience owning budgets of $1M+ per month or daily spend in the six figures.

• Fluency in subscription economics: CAC, payback, LTV, churn, cohort retention and contribution margin.

• Experience building measurement beyond platform reporting, such as incrementality testing, holdouts, MMM or multi-touch attribution.

• A strong creative eye and a proven system for briefing, testing and scaling performance creative, including UGC and creators.

• Experience owning or partnering closely on lifecycle marketing (email, SMS, onboarding, win-back).

• Comfort with data: you can pull and interpret your own numbers in tools like GA4, Looker or Tableau, and ideally basic SQL.

• Startup or high-growth experience. You are comfortable being both the strategist and the operator.

• Clear communicator who can align a CEO, a designer and a buyer around the same plan.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• $150,000 – $170,000. Pay within the range depends on experience, skills and scope.

• Hybrid (M-W in office, Th-F remote)

• Health, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance

• 401(k)

• Unlimited PTO

• yVfqxFjkYQD membership
