Overview of Job Function:
Webinar registrations, demo requests, whitepaper downloads, and stalled opportunities are all chances to move a buyer forward. Today, follow-up on them relies on Business Development (BD) and Sales.
The Marketing Programs Sr. Specialist role builds email nurture tracks for them, each written for the micro-segment behind the signal, so BD and Sales aren't the only follow-up. You own the nurture tracks: which triggers and micro-segments get one, the emails, the build, and the results. You'll join Revenue & Growth Marketing, which carries pipeline and revenue targets across AMER, EMEA, CALA, and APAC.
You'll design and run SMs6Ed'p nurture programs: email tracks built for micro-segments and started by triggers. Triggers come in two kinds: intent signals (a webinar registration, a demo request, a whitepaper download, or research on peer review sites) and internal shifts (such as an opportunity that stalls). Each track moves contacts toward BD or Sales when they're ready, and you'll judge your tracks by the pipeline they create and the deals they move forward. You'll also work with the paid media and peer reviews teams so their ads and review-site coverage reach the same micro-segments.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Track design
• Decide which triggers get a track, starting with webinar registrations, demo requests, whitepaper downloads, and stalled opportunities.
• Add tracks for other intent signals, including peer review intent, and for other internal shifts.
• Define the micro-segments each trigger needs.
• Design each track's logic: entry and exit criteria, suppression, the sequence and timing of emails, and the handoff to BD or Sales.
Emails
• Build each track in HubSpot.
• Write each track's emails for its micro-segment.
• Match existing content to each micro-segment.
• Brief the Content team when a track needs something new.
Track portfolio
• Work with campaign owners to build follow-up tracks for their webinars and content.
• Manage overlap between tracks so a contact who qualifies for several gets one coherent sequence.
• Results
• Measure each track in Salesforce and HubSpot, from engagement through pipeline and deal progress.
• Test and refine tracks based on results and retire the ones that stop performing.
• Report each track's results to stakeholders, including the campaign owners whose webinars and content it follows up on.
Sales coordination
• Agree with BD on when a contact moves from a track to BD, and what context goes with them.
• Coordinate tracks with BD's outbound in Outreach.
• Run tracks for stalled and mid- to late-stage opportunities in step with sales priorities.
Coverage beyond email
• Work with the paid media team so their ads reach each track's micro-segments in step with the emails.
• Work the same way with the peer reviews team, so peer review intent and coverage support the same micro-segments.
Tools You'll Use
• HubSpot, where you'll build and run tracks.
• Salesforce, for campaign tracking and reporting.
• Outreach, for coordinating with BD outbound.
• G2 Buyer Intent, for peer review intent.
• Wrike, for project tracking.
Minimum Requirements:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a technology, SaaS, or agency environment
• Hands-on experience designing and running trigger-based email nurture in HubSpot or a similar marketing automation platform
• Experience building micro-segments and writing nurture emails for each
• ABM nurture experience for mid- to late-stage opportunities
• A track record of nurture programs that produced measurable pipeline
• Experience working with BD and Sales on handoffs and deal acceleration
• Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
Preferred Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce for campaign tracking, reporting, and analytics
• Experience working with paid media teams on ads for the same audiences as email
• Experience using peer review intent, such as G2 Buyer Intent
• Familiarity with AI tools in marketing
