Senior UI/UX Designer

zg24bGC | Bellevue, WA | Full-Time Base Salary Range: $140K - $180K About the Role zg24bGC is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer with 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing mobile and web applications, with a strong background in marketplace products.

You’ll bring a deep understanding of how to simplify discovery, streamline onboarding, and create intuitive experiences that drive engagement across both sides of a marketplace. This role is primarily focused on our mobile application, with responsibility for delivering a cohesive experience across web as well.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for Kar9p6U’g mobile application and supporting web

experiences.

• Translate user needs, product requirements, and business goals into clear user

journeys, flows, wireframes, and polished interfaces.

• Design mobile interactions and navigation that feel intuitive and account for platform

conventions, accessibility, and usability.

• Create interactive prototypes to communicate concepts, validate assumptions, and guide development.

• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing, translating findings into actionable design improvements.

• Build and maintain a cohesive design system across mobile and web, including reusable components, patterns, and documentation.

• Collaborate with product and engineering to define requirements, evaluate trade-offs,

and deliver high-quality experiences.

• Provide clear design specifications and work closely with engineers throughout

implementation to maintain design quality.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve usability, consistency, and the overall

product experience. What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX or product design experience, with ownership of shipped digital products.

• Strong mobile application design experience, complemented by experience designing responsive web products.

• A required portfolio demonstrating your work across mobile and web, with particular

emphasis on marketplace and consumer facing products and applications.

• Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, visual hierarchy, typography, and layout.

• Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, components, and design systems.

• Experience using research, usability testing, and feedback to inform design decisions.

• The ability to independently lead design projects, navigate ambiguity, and clearly explain your recommendations.

• Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with product managers and engineers.

• Attention to detail and a practical understanding of technical constraints and

implementation trade-offs.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for both iOS and Android.

• Experience building or evolving a design system.

• Experience working in a startup or fast-moving product team.

• Experience using product analytics and experimentation to improve user journeys.
