About The Company

HarmonyTech supports technology modernization initiatives that help organizations improve the systems they rely on to deliver essential services. For this opportunity, HarmonyTech is contributing to a federal modernization program focused on mission-critical Enterprise SharePoint environments. The work calls for careful development, modernization, and ongoing attention to accessibility, reliability, and the needs of the people who use these platforms.

About The Role

HarmonyTech is seeking a Microsoft Certified Solutions Junior SharePoint Developer to support the design, development, and modernization of federal Enterprise SharePoint environments. This is a remote position and requires U.S. citizenship. Working with guidance from experienced team members, you will contribute to solutions that support important organizational workflows and information-sharing needs.

The role is designed for a developing professional who is ready to apply SharePoint skills in a mission-focused environment and grow through hands-on experience. You will work with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Apps, and Power Automate while learning how to make solutions accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.0. With consistent performance and development, the position offers a path toward taking independent ownership of work within the first year. Success will depend on curiosity, thoughtful problem-solving, clear communication, and a commitment to building dependable solutions.

Qualifications

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a Microsoft Certified Solutions credential relevant to the position. Candidates should have foundational experience or training in Microsoft SharePoint development and a genuine interest in modernizing enterprise collaboration environments. Familiarity with SPFx, Power Apps, and Power Automate is important, as is a willingness to deepen practical skills in these technologies.

Applicants should understand the importance of accessible digital experiences and be prepared to apply WCAG 2.0 considerations during design, development, and review. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical direction are essential. You should be comfortable asking questions, documenting your work, incorporating feedback, and collaborating with colleagues. The ability to manage assigned tasks in a remote work setting and communicate progress clearly is also important.

Responsibilities

Support the design, development, configuration, and modernization of Enterprise SharePoint solutions under the guidance of senior team members. Build and enhance components and experiences using SPFx, and contribute to workflow and application solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps. Help evaluate existing environments and identify opportunities to improve usability, maintainability, and alignment with program requirements.

Apply accessibility practices with WCAG 2.0 in mind, and assist with reviewing solutions for accessibility and functional quality. Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution; document implementation details and relevant decisions; and follow established development processes. Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate progress, and respond constructively to feedback. As your expertise grows, take on broader responsibility for assigned work and progress toward independent ownership of solutions.

Benefits

This remote opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a federal modernization program while building practical experience with SharePoint, SPFx, Power Apps, Power Automate, and accessibility-focused development. You will receive guidance as you develop your capabilities, with a clear opportunity to grow toward greater independence during your first year. The role also provides experience working on enterprise platforms whose reliability and usability support mission-critical operations.

Equal Opportunity

HarmonyTech is committed to fair and inclusive employment practices. Employment decisions are made without regard to protected characteristics under applicable law. Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their skills, experience, and ability to meet the requirements of this position.
