Email •••••••• with your resume attached as a PDF and a short paragraph, in your own words (not AI), on why you want this role.
In the same email, tell us about something you made better: a website, a campaign, a process, or a project you took from idea to launch. What was the problem, what did you personally do, and what happened?
If you have links to pages, sites, or campaigns you built, send them. A formal design portfolio is not required.
We use AI heavily here and we expect you to. For this application, we want your own words.

About FaMpK
FaMpK is the fastest growing deodorant brand in the US. Our team is made up of smart people who care about the work, building together in person in downtown Durham, NC. The office is open, with plenty of quiet niches when you need to focus, and the pace is fast.
Ask anyone here what they like most about working at FaMpK and you will get the same answer: the people. No ego. Honest feedback. High expectations. Everyone pitching in outside their job description.
Many of our customers have struggled with sweat for years and tried everything else before they found us. Most of them find us on our website, and that is where they decide whether to believe us.
About the Role
Our website is where people decide whether they believe in FaMpK. We are hiring someone to make it better every week.
You come up with the idea, build it, launch it, and measure what it did. Your mockups don't get handed to someone else to build. When someone says "this page isn't working," you take it from there: figure out what matters, decide what to change, build it, test it, and ship it.
You will work alongside an experienced ecommerce team, learn our tools and systems, and take on bigger projects as you grow.
Your work will be visible, measurable, and tied directly to revenue.
What You'll Do
Make the website better
Build and improve landing pages, product pages, funnels, and the shopping experience
Find where customers get stuck, and fix it
Bring ideas to life in Figma, Shopify, HTML, CSS, Liquid, and AI coding tools
Build, QA, and launch your own work instead of handing it to a developer
Run the store
Manage products, pages, promotions, and storefront updates in Shopify
Set up bundles, subscription offers, and selling plans in Shopify and Recharge
Launch new products and campaigns on the site
When something on the site breaks or acts strangely, find out why and fix it
Keep the site accurate, fast, and working
Test everything
Turn what you notice into a hypothesis, build the A/B test, read the result, and ship the winner
Use analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings to see where customers drop off
Track conversion rate, average order value, and revenue so you know what your work did
Use what you learned to pick the next test
Figure things out
Learn new tools as the business needs them
Use AI to build, troubleshoot, and automate
Make repetitive work faster and clunky processes better
What We're Looking For
You have worked hands on with an ecommerce site, digital marketing, or online selling
You know a website has to sell, not just look nice
You have a strong visual eye and can make a page clear, attractive, and easy to use
You care how design changes conversion and retention
You open a new tool and figure it out instead of waiting to be trained
You have taken an idea and turned it into something real
You use data to make decisions and to measure what worked
You already use AI to work faster and build more
You own outcomes, not just tasks
You catch your own mistakes before customers do
Your title matters less than what you have built, improved, or figured out. Your background might be ecommerce, digital marketing, retention, merchandising, web design, or something else entirely. If you are the person on your team who knows a little about everything and always gets it done, you will feel at home here. If this excites you but you don't check every box, we would still love to hear from you.
Nice to Have
Managing a Shopify storefront or editing Shopify themes
Figma, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Liquid
A/B testing in Convert, Optimizely, VWO, or similar
Recharge or another subscription platform
GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, or ecommerce reporting
Claude Code, Cursor, or other AI coding tools
Connecting platforms, building automations, or fixing integrations
DTC or ecommerce experience
This Is Not
A design role where you make mockups and someone else builds them.
A role with a detailed brief for every project. You turn a loose goal into a plan.
A role for someone who wants weeks to perfect a plan. Build it, learn from it, make it better.
What You'll Get
Competitive salary based on experience
A company computer of your choosing
401k
Health insurance (FaMpK covers a portion), with vision and dental options
Employer paid life insurance
Free product, a snack and drink bar, and a team of brilliant, determined, and kind people to build alongside
