About The Role

Love Advertising is seeking a driven Web Developer to join its digital experience team. In this role, you will build, customize, and maintain client websites and digital campaigns in a fast-moving, client-service environment. You will turn design concepts into polished, responsive, accessible web experiences and contribute to projects from development through launch and ongoing support. The role involves working across multiple projects, balancing priorities, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver reliable, high-quality work on schedule. You will also support the growth of junior developers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. This opportunity is suited to a developer who takes pride in clean code, enjoys solving practical challenges, and stays interested in how the web and development tools continue to evolve.

Qualifications

Candidates should have at least two years of professional web development experience in an agency or comparable client-service setting. A strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required, along with a solid understanding of web accessibility standards and responsive design. Experience building or maintaining sites on content management systems, particularly WordPress or Craft CMS, is important. You should be comfortable interpreting design handoffs and working with tools such as Figma and Photoshop, and familiar with Git-based workflows, including branching, pull requests, and code review. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to contribute constructively across disciplines. Experience or an interest in mentoring junior developers is welcome.

Additional experience that may be helpful includes Timber for WordPress, JavaScript animation libraries such as GSAP, and AWS services such as S3 or Lightsail. Familiarity with Sass, Webpack, Vite, React, or email development using MJML is also beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is welcome; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain client websites, primarily using WordPress and other CMS platforms. Translate design files into accurate, responsive, accessible front-end experiences, and write clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in line with current best practices. Support website analytics and reporting by implementing and maintaining Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. Use established Git workflows, participate in pull requests and code reviews, and help ensure development work is dependable and easy to maintain. Partner with design, strategy, project management, and account services to clarify requirements, share progress, and deliver work on time. Mentor junior developers through thoughtful feedback, collaborative problem-solving, and knowledge sharing. Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, including AI, and help assess opportunities to improve the team’s work.
