About The Company
Addison Group is a professional services and talent solutions organization that connects skilled professionals with opportunities across a range of industries. The company works with organizations to understand their business needs and identify talent that can support their goals. Addison Group values collaboration, client service, and building productive relationships between employers and professionals. This full-time opportunity is based in Houston, Texas, and offers the chance to contribute to the development of practical artificial intelligence solutions for enterprise environments.
About The Role
Addison Group is seeking an AI Developer with hands-on experience in agentic AI development and enterprise integration. In this role, you will build AI agents that can reason through defined tasks, make decisions, and support real business workflows. You will also develop the APIs, microservices, and integration layers that connect AI capabilities with existing applications, data sources, and transactional systems.
The successful candidate will bring together knowledge of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and system integration. You will contribute to both single-agent solutions for focused workflows and multi-agent orchestration for more advanced use cases. Working with technical colleagues and domain experts, you will help create reliable AI services that are useful, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise requirements.
This is a full-time, exempt position located in Houston, Texas. The anticipated compensation range is $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and other relevant considerations.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least five years of experience in AI or machine learning development, microservices architecture, enterprise system integration, or a closely related area. Prior experience developing LLM-based solutions and working with agent frameworks is required. Applicants should be comfortable building and orchestrating single-agent and multi-agent systems, applying prompt engineering techniques, and working with embeddings and foundational RAG concepts.
Qualified candidates will also have experience designing, developing, or maintaining API microservices and integration components. The ability to connect AI models with enterprise applications, operational workflows, and relevant data sources is important. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are needed to work effectively with technical teams and domain experts. Candidates should be able to assess AI outputs thoughtfully and contribute to improving accuracy, reliability, and responsible use.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy prompt-based single-agent systems that support targeted business workflows. Design and implement multi-agent orchestration approaches for advanced RAG pipelines and other complex AI use cases. Integrate AI models into subsystems supporting transactions, knowledge management, and service operations, ensuring that solutions work effectively with existing enterprise systems.
Build and maintain API microservices that expose AI capabilities, such as entity extraction, to other applications and services. Develop integration layers that allow agents to access approved systems, data sources, and transactional workflows. Collaborate with colleagues on dataset creation and preparation for model fine-tuning and ongoing improvement. Partner with domain experts to evaluate model performance, improve response accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and support compliance with applicable business requirements. Contribute to implementation decisions, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous refinement of AI solutions.
Benefits
This position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan; parental leave; an annual bonus; and standard paid time off. Benefit eligibility, plan details, and applicable terms are subject to the employer’s policies and plan documents.
Equal Opportunity
Addison Group is committed to fair and equitable employment practices. Employment decisions are made based on job-related qualifications, skills, and business needs. Applicants will be considered without discrimination on any basis protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals during the application and hiring process.
