Our client is hiring within its social media and marketing function to strengthen engagement across Reddit.

About the Role

You will build, engage, and grow online communities, with a primary focus on Reddit. You will participate in conversations, develop relationships, monitor sentiment, and represent the brand with credibility and sound judgment.

This role centers on community engagement and conversation management. You will use your understanding of internet culture and community dynamics to build trust through meaningful participation.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day community engagement on Reddit

• Respond to questions, build relationships with users, and encourage productive conversations.

• Develop strategies to grow communities and build brand advocacy through authentic participation.

• Monitor conversations about the company, its products, industry, and competitors; escalate concerns and sensitive issues when needed.

• Track audience sentiment, emerging trends, cultural conversations, and consumer feedback to identify timely engagement opportunities.

• Share actionable community insights with marketing, brand, communications, product, customer experience, and leadership teams.

• Collaborate across internal teams on community campaigns and initiatives.

• Use platform analytics and social listening tools to report on engagement, audience growth, community health, and opportunities to refine strategy.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience engaging online audiences, building relationships, and managing community conversations, particularly on Reddit.

• An understanding of internet culture, platform norms, and how to participate credibly in community-led discussions.

• Clear written communication and sound judgment when representing a brand and responding to sensitive topics.

• Familiarity with social listening tools, community engagement metrics, and audience analytics.

• Experience collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.

• Experience navigating high-visibility or highly regulated environments is valued.

• Relevant backgrounds may include community management, social media, public relations, corporate communications, online reputation management, digital marketing, journalism, digital publishing, community outreach, or brand marketing. A previous Reddit Community Manager title is not required.
