About The Role

Diverse Lynx is hiring an iOS Mobile Developer to design, build, test, and maintain applications for Apple platforms. The successful candidate will bring strong Swift skills, practical knowledge of iOS frameworks, and experience applying suitable architecture to create maintainable applications. You will work across the development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and shaping technical solutions to debugging, improving performance, and preparing releases. This position is suited to a developer who balances sound engineering practices with a focus on usability, stability, and delivery. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 per year, with benefits.

Qualifications

Candidates should have mastery of Swift and familiarity with Objective-C, along with hands-on experience developing iOS applications. Practical proficiency with Xcode and Cocoa Touch is required. Applicants should be comfortable working with SwiftUI and UIKit and understand how to select and apply architectural patterns such as MVVM or VIPER. Knowledge of local data management using Core Data and SwiftData is important, as is familiarity with modern Swift concurrency, including async/await.

You should also be proficient with Git and understand collaborative version-control workflows. Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, troubleshooting build processes, and preparing applications for App Store submission is expected. Strong problem-solving skills, care for code quality, and the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly are essential. The ideal candidate can collaborate with cross-functional partners, manage assigned work responsibly, and adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining a reliable, user-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain iOS mobile applications using Swift and relevant Apple development frameworks. Translate product requirements and technical designs into readable, reusable, and maintainable code. Build and refine user interfaces with SwiftUI and UIKit, keeping usability, accessibility, and consistency in mind. Apply appropriate architectural patterns, including MVVM or VIPER, to support organized and testable application development.

Use Core Data and SwiftData where appropriate to support application data needs, and implement asynchronous tasks using modern Swift concurrency practices. Participate in code reviews and collaborate with developers, designers, product partners, and other stakeholders to resolve questions and deliver agreed outcomes. Identify and troubleshoot defects, investigate performance or reliability concerns, and contribute improvements throughout the application lifecycle. Use Git to manage code changes and support team workflows. Work with CI/CD pipelines, assist with build validation, and prepare releases in accordance with App Store submission processes. Document relevant implementation decisions and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to the team.
