Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with 2–4 years of experience in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Excel skills, experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.

• Analyze business trends, patterns, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders and management.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to identify discrepancies.

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance against established targets.

• Document data processes, reporting procedures, and analytical findings.

• Present insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data manipulation.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.

• Experience with at least one data visualization tool: Power BI or Tableau.

• Good understanding of data cleaning, data validation, data transformation, and reporting.

• Knowledge of statistical concepts and analytical techniques.

• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis and automation.

• Exposure to databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.

• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

• Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience working in Agile or cross-functional business environments.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Master's degree or relevant certifications in Data Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL are a plus.
