Sr. Windows Administrator — Atlanta Metropolitan Area

K69V2Ky is hiring a Senior Windows Administrator to keep client Windows and Microsoft environments stable, patched, secure and well documented. This role is fully remote and open to candidates in the US, UK and Europe.

We run our clients' IT and security day to day and handle the IT side of their mergers and acquisitions, with teams in Atlanta, London and Skopje.

THE ROLE

You'll run the Windows, identity and Microsoft 365 foundations our clients depend on every day, and act as the senior escalation point for the help desk. You'll plan and deliver migrations as clients grow and acquire companies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and file services across client environments

• Run hybrid identity with Entra Connect or Cloud Sync, and support Lumos for joiner, mover and leaver automation

• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams, including mailbox and tenant-to-tenant migrations

• Manage Intune with Autopilot and Apple Business Manager enrollment

• Own monthly patching for servers and endpoints through Tanium and Intune

• Manage backup and recovery, virtualization hosts, and Azure Virtual Desktop with Nerdio

• Act as senior escalation for infrastructure incidents from the help desk

• Lead migrations and integrations when clients acquire companies

• Automate routine work with PowerShell and mentor L1 and L2 engineers

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years administering Windows Server and Active Directory in production

• Deep Group Policy, DNS and DHCP knowledge

• Hands-on hybrid identity with Entra Connect or Cloud Sync

• Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 administration, including a mailbox migration

• Intune device management

• Backup and recovery with tested restores; Hyper-V or VMware

• PowerShell scripting

• Experience working inside a formal change-control process

• Clear written English: you can write a runbook another engineer can follow at 2 a.m.

NICE TO HAVE

• MSP or multi-tenant experience

• M&A integration: AD consolidation, tenant-to-tenant migrations, domain moves

• Azure IaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop with Nerdio

• Tanium or another endpoint management platform at scale

• Certifications: AZ-800/801, MD-102, AZ-104, MS-102
