Position: AI/ML Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (onsite)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and prototype AI/ML solutions and LLM-driven applications.

• Build applications integrating hosted and locally deployed Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Implement RAG, embeddings, vector search, context engineering, and graph-based retrieval approaches.

• Evaluate and benchmark foundation models, analyzing performance, accuracy, bias, and failure modes.

• Leverage AI frameworks, orchestration tools, and evaluation methodologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into working prototypes.

• Document reusable engineering patterns, best practices, and technical findings.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support AI engineering adoption.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python and software development.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development.

• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.

• Understanding of foundation model evaluation and data science fundamentals.

• Exposure to MCP, graph-based retrieval, and local LLM deployments.
