Junior Copywriter

Hybrid (Chicago or Detroit preferred; also open to Los Angeles and New York)

A leading PR agency is seeking a Junior Copywriter to help develop creative, audience-focused campaigns across social, digital, advertising, PR, and content channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with creative teams to develop campaign concepts and compelling brand stories.

• Write copy for social media, PR materials, presentations, scripts, digital content, and marketing assets.

• Create platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X, and emerging channels.

• Translate briefs, research, and product information into clear, engaging messaging.

• Adapt tone and voice across multiple brands while maintaining consistency.

• Edit, proofread, and refine content to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Present creative concepts to internal teams and clients.

• Collaborate with designers, strategists, producers, and cross-functional partners.

• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and support new business initiatives.

• Stay up to date on cultural trends, social conversations, and digital best practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of copywriting, content creation, or agency experience preferred.

• Portfolio demonstrating strong writing and storytelling skills.

• Knowledge of social media platforms and content strategies.

• Ability to write in diverse brand voices and formats.

• Strong editing, proofreading, and communication skills.

• Experience creating content for social, digital, and integrated marketing campaigns.

• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, ideation, and SEO optimization.

• Creative thinker with strong curiosity, organization, and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with content creation, community management, or blogging is a plus.

• Automotive industry knowledge or interest is preferred.
