Senior Content Writer, Engineering — United States

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Content Writer, Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will help shape how complex engineering work is translated into clear, compelling content for a technical audience. You will partner closely with engineers and other internal stakeholders to uncover strong ideas, develop stories, and publish high-quality editorial pieces at a rapid pace. The position blends technical depth, interviewing, editing, and visual storytelling to elevate the organization’s engineering voice and content output.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $100,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Deep dive into engineering challenges and document solutions

• Identify and develop new story ideas through collaboration with engineers

• Publish frequently, contributing to a culture of rapid content delivery

• Co-write and edit technical articles with engineering teams

• Transform rough drafts into polished, informative content with supporting visuals

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in technical writing for engineering audiences

• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

• Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and databases

• Exceptional interviewing skills to extract detailed insights from engineers

• Analytical skills to interpret technical papers and experimental results

• Editorial judgment to identify valuable engineering stories

• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance writing efficiency
