Video Editor/ Graphic Designer — Mayhew Tools, Turners Falls, MA

The Video Editor/Graphic Designer is responsible for creating engaging social media content, video assets, motion graphics, and supporting graphic design materials that strengthen the Mayhew Tools brand. This role focuses on developing content for social media channels, producing product demonstrations and promotional videos, and supporting marketing initiatives through high-quality visual communication. The position works closely with Product, Production, and Marketing teams to maintain a consistent and impactful brand presence across digital and print platforms.

Areas Of Responsibility

Social Media Content Creation: Create, edit, and publish engaging content for social media platforms, including video, motion graphics, photography, and static graphics that support marketing initiatives and drive audience engagement.

Video Production & Editing: Produce and edit short-form videos, product demonstrations, marketing campaigns, and other digital content for web and social channels.

Graphic Design Support: Assist with the creation of marketing materials, product promotions, trade show graphics, email assets, digital advertisements, and other branded visual communications.

Content Library & Asset Management: Organize, maintain, and repurpose photo, video, and design assets to support ongoing marketing efforts.

Key Duties

Develop content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital platforms.

Create graphics and supporting visual assets for marketing campaigns.

Edit video content for social media, product launches, and promotional initiatives.

Capture photo and video content as needed.

Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Production teams to identify content opportunities.

Maintain brand consistency across all content and marketing materials.

Requirements

Proven professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design.

Self-motivated, organized, and experienced in managing creative workflows.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Proficiency in industry-standard video production, editing, and design software.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.

Experience creating content for social media platforms and understanding platform-specific best practices.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $20.00-$27.00 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience.
