Position Overview

The 8rvb AMVU is seeking a Power BI Developer to support the development and enhancement of a Power BI Report Hub that consolidates and curates data from multiple sources into a trusted platform for decision-making, accountability, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will deliver dashboards, reports, data models, and Power Platform solutions using Power BI, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and extensive DAX, M, and SQL. Power BI expertise is the primary focus of the role; experience supporting Dataverse-based solutions is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reporting solutions, including dashboards, visualizations, and geospatial reporting capabilities.

• Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver scalable, user-friendly reporting and analytics solutions.

• Apply data visualization, UX, and reporting best practices to improve usability, adoption, and business insight.

• Support enterprise data modeling and reporting platforms using Power Query (M), DAX, SQL, and Dataverse while ensuring data quality and performance.

• Configure and maintain Dataverse environments, including tables, relationships, business rules, security, and reporting datasets.

• Develop and support Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and integrations with enterprise data sources.

• Support Power Platform governance, security, and administration, and evaluate emerging AI and Copilot capabilities.

• Test and remediate Power BI reports and Power Platform apps for Section 508 accessibility compliance.

• Contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement through testing, documentation, product enhancements, and end-user support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• 3+ years of experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and Workspace Apps.

• Experience with Power Query (M), DAX, SQL and/or Azure SQL, data modeling, and semantic models.

• Experience supporting business intelligence solutions end to end, including data acquisition, transformation, dashboard development, deployment, and performance optimization.

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, or Dataverse.

• Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems and supporting reporting modernization efforts.

• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of Power Platform architecture, governance, security, and best practices, including Section 508 accessibility testing and remediation.

• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Dataverse solutions, including data modeling, security, and integrations.

• Experience implementing role-based Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI.

• Experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, or SharePoint-based solutions.

• Experience with geospatial reporting tools, Copilot, or other AI-assisted development tools.

• Experience supporting federal, public health, grants management, or data modernization programs.

• Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or PL-400 (Power Platform Developer).
