Senior Learning Designer — Buffalo, NY

The qdJ7SdSVAF Sv K8MnMnr sfhhfj of Management seeks to hire a Senior Learning Designer. The Designer works with the team in the Academic Operations Department on the development of courses for credit and non-credit academic programs. The Designer ensures that courses are consistent with university and external standards to achieve student learning outcomes and to ensure that learning materials and environment meet Title II Accessibility standards. The Designer works with the faculty and staff to engage students and promote their learning via various instructional technologies for both online and in-classroom environments. This position reports to the Manager of Instructional Technologies in the School of Management.

Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Serve as a course design expert in UB’s Learning Management System (LMS) by creating and editing courses, and by providing guidance and direct user support to faculty and staff throughout the instructional design process.

• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify learning needs, objectives, and appropriate instructional technology methodologies to assist in creating high-quality, interactive courses for both face-to-face and online learning environments.

• Design and develop new training materials, user documentation, faculty and staff guides and professional development courses; conduct or assist with training and workshops as needed.

• Collaborate with Manager of Instructional Technologies, UrTvMjQh7Z staff and other internal staff members on strategic initiatives to create courses that align with course, program/degree curriculum, enrollment goals, accreditation and accessibility requirements.

• Support content creation and review various course or learning materials for Title II ADA compliance, W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and the SUNY Online Course Quality Review Rubric (OSCQR).

• Provide suggestions for inclusive and diverse course design; suggest or design course materials
