About the Role
We are seeking an ML Ops Engineer to join the Data Science Enablement squad in Downtown Cincinnati. In this role, you will work with an existing batch inference model to establish a secure, automated deployment pipeline. The position combines hands-on engineering with change management, architecture, and training, with a focus on helping data scientists and other members of the Data Science Enablement team develop their MLOps capabilities.
Once the foundational deployment framework is established, you will help expand MLOps capabilities through tools and practices such as MLflow, A/B testing, real-time endpoints, and additional automation involving Model Risk Management (MRM).
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a secure, automated deployment pipeline for an existing batch inference model.
• Educate and mentor data scientists and other team members on MLOps practices.
• Balance engineering responsibilities with change management, architecture, and training.
• Support the development of additional MLOps capabilities, including MLflow, A/B testing, and real-time endpoints.
• Expand automation capabilities in coordination with Model Risk Management (MRM).
Required Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of experience in machine learning and MLOps.
• Proven experience with AWS SageMaker and building end-to-end machine learning models.
• Experience with data integration and management using IBM DB2, Snowflake, or similar databases.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, R, SQL, and/or Java.
• Experience using DevOps tools such as Jira, Terraform, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in highly regulated industries, such as banking, financial services, or healthcare.
