The Opportunity

We are building our priority talent pool for Short-Form Video Editor opportunities. Edit engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and similar channels. This role prioritizes entertaining or educational content, creator personality and audience retention rather than paid-ad conversion.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Platform-Native Edits: Turn raw talking-head, interview, podcast, lifestyle, and social footage into concise, platform-native edits.

• Storytelling: Find compelling moments, build clean narrative flow, and create engaging hooks, pacing, captions, and on-screen graphics.

• Sound & Visuals: Use music, sound design, jump cuts, B-roll, and visual effects purposefully without over-editing.

• Repurposing: Repurpose longer footage into multiple social-ready clips and adapt formats to platform needs.

• Feedback & Accuracy: Apply editorial feedback quickly, maintain consistent voice, and ensure accurate captions and exports.

What You Bring

• Experience: 2+ years of video editing experience with a portfolio of Reels, TikToks, Shorts, or creator/social content.

• Tools: Fluency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.

• Editorial Judgment: Excellent editorial judgment, timing, storytelling, and retention-focused pacing.

• Platform Awareness: Awareness of platform-native aesthetics and changing short-form creative conventions.

• Self-Direction & QA: Self-directed workflow, dependable turnaround, and careful caption/audio QA.

Bonus Points if:

• YouTube/podcast repurposing experience

• Creator or personal-brand editing

• Basic motion templates or AI-assisted clipping

• Experience with paid short-form campaigns
