SEO/GEO Technical Analyst — Raleigh, NC

Your Impact

Search visibility starts with a strong technical foundation. As search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms continue to evolve, a website's ability to be crawled, understood, and indexed has never been more important. You'll help clients navigate the technical complexities of organic search by identifying opportunities, diagnosing issues, and developing solutions that improve website crawlability and discoverability. Working alongside SEO Content Specialists, you'll turn technical insights into actionable strategies that drive meaningful results.

Your Role

• Conduct technical SEO/GEO audits and ongoing website analysis to identify opportunities related to crawlability, indexability, rendering, site architecture, internal linking, and overall search engine accessibility

• Analyze website performance, including Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, JavaScript rendering, and other technical factors that influence search visibility

• Provide guidance for website migrations, replatforms, domain consolidations, URL structure changes, duplicate content, canonicalization, index bloat, crawl budget, and other complex technical challenges

• Analyze structured data and schema markup to help search engines better understand website content and improve eligibility for enhanced search experiences

• Evaluate website accessibility and discoverability across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences, including opportunities to improve visibility in AI Overviews and generative search platforms

• Partner with SEO Content Specialists to translate technical findings, competitive research, and performance data into cohesive SEO/GEO strategies.

• Collaborate with client development teams to communicate technical recommendations, troubleshoot implementation challenges, and guide the execution of prioritized improvements

• Monitor organic search performance through a variety of tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, website crawlers, and third-party SEO platforms

• Analyze search performance trends, diagnose fluctuations, and identify opportunities to improve organic visibility and client results

• Contribute to monthly SEO/GEO performance reports and communicate technical findings, results, and recommendations to clients

• Build strong client relationships by creating and sending meeting agendas and follow-ups, participating in client calls, helping organize client visits, and providing proactive communication regarding account strategy

• Stay informed on search engine algorithm updates, advancements in AI, and emerging search technologies to identify opportunities and adapt client strategies

• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to support research, analysis, problem-solving, and workflow efficiency

• Collaborate with cross-functional service team members to ensure a cohesive strategy for shared clients

• Perform other duties as needed, which could include keyword research, competitor analysis, authority-building efforts, or ad hoc technical and performance analysis
