This role will lead the department’s administration of the new MAM system and metadata, and will hold file discipline across the team until the system officially launches company-wide. The Operations & Asset Manager is expected to hold the standard consistently, including returning work that isn’t ready, while keeping thecreative team supported and productive.

Key Responsibilities:
Traffic and Project Management
• Serve as the point of entry for creative work; confirm each brief is complete, scoped, and prioritized before it is assigned.
• Manage daily Creative Services’ workflow, and recommend priority calls to the VP when demand exceeds capacity.
• Set and enforce Creative Services’ milestones against 2c7sap'2 release slate as well as platform and partner requests.
• Own Creative Services workflow systems day-to-day (work orders, routing, status tracking) and report on volume, turnaround, on-time delivery and capacity - tracking title and project status, chasing missing information, and managing stakeholder expectations.
Media Asset Management and Metadata Governance
• Serve as the Creative Service’s administrator of the MAM as it pertains to the department’s asset management.
• Enforce the standardized metadata schema, keyword framework, file-naming convention, and folder structure across print, digital, and audio/visual assets as they flow through Creative Services.
• Own the asset-ingest protocol for all finished marketing materials coming into the department, internal or external (agencies, vendors, international licensors): a single landing zone, QC against a defined checklist (specs, required legal elements, version control), return of failed assets with notes, and ingest of approved assets with required metadata.
• Confirm archived assets are connected to rights data in the company's rights management system, and flag missing, unclear, or restricted rights to the appropriate rights or legal contact before assets are released for use.
• Document procedures for intake, QC, ingest, and delivery, and evaluate and pilot new tools and automation as the department's needs evolve.
Qualifications
• 4–6+ years of experience in creative operations, creative production management, or traffic coordination within a high-volume agency or in-house creative team.
• Hands-on experience using a Media Asset Management (MAM) or Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
• Proficiency with project management and work-order software and standard office productivity tools.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard design and video production tools and their outputs, and of asset formats and specs across print, digital, and audio/visual.
• Working knowledge of legal requirements on marketing materials, such as billing blocks, copyright notices, ratings, and licensor approvals; this is not a legal role and does not require contract interpretation.
• Strong communication and diplomacy; able to hold firm boundaries with stakeholders while keeping the creative team supported and productive.
• Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter who owns a full workload independently with minimal oversight.
Preferred:
• Experience in entertainment, home entertainment, or content distribution, with an understanding of creative teams and workflows.
• Understanding of video production asset structures and visual specs (camera codecs, proxies, audio tracks, file resolution/specs) and their storage impact.
• Familiarity with rights management concepts (territory, term, usage restrictions) and rights management systems.
• A passion for television and film and a desire to explore technology and tools.
