Summary

The Applications Engineer develops and implements solutions integrating applications across 8a6GBXs2. Evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and ensures final solutions meet organizational needs.

Education And/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field required

• Minimum one-year experience required

• Blue Prism certification or equivalent technology preferred

• Hands on experience with related programming and scripting languages (Python, SQL, Java, PLSQL, C, etc.) preferred

• Exposure to RPA and Automation preferred

• Understanding of automation opportunities and development preferred

• Prior experience building solutions utilizing the Blue Prism tool preferred

• Exposure to Low Code Application Platforms (Microsoft PowerApps, etc.) preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Designs and develops software solutions to meet business requirements

• Manages full software development life cycle including testing, implementation, UAT and post production auditing

• Execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications

• Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and participate in software upgrades, revisions, fixes and patches as required or mandated by the vendor

• Work with business users to conduct business intake analysis to document current manual workflow process and convert to automation functional specifications

• Conduct the full end-to-end process including technical design, development, testing, UAT signoff and production shakeout utilizing agile methodologies

• Work jointly with a team of developers to collaborate with the design, development, and deployment of software applications

• Interact with cross functional IT teams to articulate and design solutions where automation solutions require integration with financial applications within the software stack

• Ensure design and development meet business requirements and functional specification

• Proactively analyze application performance, look for improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to management

• Collaborate with business users and other stakeholders to gather requirements and follow the standard software development life cycle

The good faith range for this position is $66,500 - $80,000 per year. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
